Methods and processes are disclosed for providing sustainable improvement in fishery productivity in marine waters. This method and process consists of (1) selecting the location of the ocean which is considered high nutrient salt low chlorophyll (HNLC), and (2) whether this site is within the vicinity of the fishing ground or migratory route of the fishery, or (3) Sea level altitude deviation (marine vortex) is defined in this place using satellite sea level altitude (s.s.h.) data, and ( 4) applying ferrous compound-containing fertilizer within this marine vortex.海洋水における漁業生産性の持続可能な改善をもたらすための方法及びプロセスが開示される。この方法及びプロセスは、（１）高栄養塩低クロロフィル（ＨＮＬＣ）と考えられる海洋の場所を選択し、かつ（２）この場所が、漁業の給餌場もしくは回遊ルートの近傍内であるか、または魚の索餌域と考えられる水域内にあること、（３）この場所内で、衛星による海面高度（ｓ．ｓ．ｈ．）データを用いて海洋海面高度偏差（海洋渦）が定義され、（４）この海洋渦内で鉄化合物を含有する肥料を適用すること、を含む。
