A welding mask (10) comprises a mask housing (11), and a hood (40)for being worn on the head of a wearer and made from a non-breathable soft material. A zipper structure (42, 52, 56) for detachably connecting the hood to the mask housing around the whole periphery of an opening of the mask housing is disposed between the mask housing (11) and the hood (40). After the hood and the mask housing are connected, the zipper structure is located inside the welding mask housing.
