PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and a program for accurately discriminating between a continuous structure such as a mammary gland and a microstructure such as a minute calcified part by using a conventional one-dimensional ultrasonic probe as an ultrasonic probe and acquiring a desired extracted image of the microstructure in real time.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes the ultrasonic probe 12 which transmits ultrasound to a subject and receives an echo signal, an image generating unit 25 which generates a plurality of tomographic images with respect to the subject from the echo signal, an image memory 26 for storing the generated tomographic images, and a control processor 28. The control processor performs the following control to carry out image processing to extract the microstructure by using a correlation between the tomographic image stored in the image memory 26 and a tomographic image corresponding to a position of the ultrasonic probe 12 at a present moment.
