The invention relates to a pharmaceutical formulation comprising a polypeptideselected from a group containing insulin, an insulin metabolite, an insulinanalogue, an insulin derivative or combinations thereof and also comprising asurfactant or combinations of several surfactants, optionally a preservativeor combinations of several preservatives and optionally an isotonic agent,buffers or additional auxiliary agents or combinations thereof. According tothe invention, said pharmaceutical formulation has an acidic pH value.
