A method of production of a product from a stock pulp sheet uses conveyor rolls (5) to convey a stock pulp sheet (3) to a crusher (6). During conveyance to the crusher, a defective part in the stock pulp sheet (3) is detected by a detector (10). The detected defective part is removed from the stock pulp sheet (3) by a remover (20). The stock pulp sheet (3) from which the defective part is removed is supplied to the crusher (6) to produce crushed pulp.
