PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearing article wherein the touch of the outer surface of a diaper is soft, and which presents a soft impression even in appearance.SOLUTION: This wearing article 1 includes an exterior body 11 having an outer layer sheet 12 forming the outer surface and an inner sheet 13. At least one of a belly side part A and a back side part B has: a west region A1 formed with a waist gather by elastic members 91 fixed to the outer layer sheet 12 a lower abdominal region A3 formed with a lower abdominal gather G3 by elastic members 91 fixed to the outer layer sheet 12 and an upper abdominal region A2 positioned between the regions A1, A3, and not fixed with an elastic member 12 to the outer layer sheet 12.
