The present invention is provided with: a holding mechanism 2 which includes a holding part 4 having contact parts 6 to be brought into contact with contact objects of a patient undergoing artificial knee joint replacement surgery, and which is held against the patient while the contact parts 6 are in contact with the contact objects and an indicating mechanism 3 provided with a part 18 for indicating an object to have the position thereof specified, i.e. a region, in the patient, to have the position thereof specified, said part 18 being attached to the holding mechanism 2, and being disposed in a position corresponding to the object to have the position thereof specified, while the holding mechanism 2 is being held against the patient.
