PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individually packaged type small animal breeding floor mat in which powder and shredding things are not whirled up during handling to thereby facilitate laying, a breeding method of contributing to environmental enrichment to a small animal, and a sterilization method that can be autoclaved directly.SOLUTION: A small animal breeding floor mat is provided in which a floor mat material 4 is individually packaged by a packaging material, one piece of packaging sheet 2a, 2b is folded in a folding part 2c, and the overlapped circumferential edge is bonded (b) with thermocompression bonding (a) or adhesives 5, and thereby a filling part 3 is sealed. The small animal breeding floor mat is configured such that the floor mat material 4 is filled so as to become around 2 cm in height when flattened, and a dimension and a filling rate are provided so as to enable loosening in the packaging sheet 2a, 2b. The adhesive 5 may not be suitable for edible, and includes heat resistance, pressure resistance and water resistance capable of enduring autoclave with oral non-toxicity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】取扱中に粉末や細砕物等が舞い上がらず容易に敷設ができる個別包装タイプの小動物飼育用床敷、小動物への環境エンリッチメントに資する飼育方法、直にオートクレーブ可能な減菌方法を提供する。【解決手段】小動物飼育用床敷は、床敷材4が包装材によって個別包装されており、1枚の包装シート2a,2bが折り部2cで折り曲げられ、重畳した周縁部を熱圧着(a)又は接着材5で接着(b)して充填部3が密閉されている。小動物飼育用床敷は、平らにならした場合に高さ2cm程度となるよう床敷材4が充填されるが、包装シート2a,2bに弛みを持たせるような寸法及び充填率となっている。接着材5としては、可食に適するものでなくてよく、経口非毒性で、オートクレーブに耐え得る耐熱性、耐圧性及び耐水性を備える。【選択図】図2
