The present invention relates to a mat designed to suppress the growth of weeds. The invention comprises the followings: a main body to which the right and left sides of one or more fan-shaped mats are connected so that the outer corner of the body is formed in a circle and an opening where trees are placed at the center of the main body. The opening includes: a penetration hole corresponding to the trees an extended part that is extended upwardly from the corner of the penetration hole in a certain length and in which the inner periphery adheres closely to the outside of the trees and a fixation device to pressure the outer periphery of the extended part.
