PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contrast yarn and a tool for placing the contrast yarn to solve problems that, when a conventional contrast yarn is used with one yarn as a singly using condition, the strength is week to handle it, and the thickness is long to cause danger when sponges and the like is used for bound portion between a receiving portion and an inserted portion, and that it is difficult that a subject allows a hollow needle with flat tip to penetrated through its tip of a tool for placing when using as an assembly.SOLUTION: A contrast yarn comprises a receiving portion in which an engaging portion is formed in its one end, an inserting portion of which another end is inserted through the engaging portion of the receiving portion and a yarn material added with a contrast agent to form a loop by inserting the receiving portion of the inserting portion to the engaging portion. A length of a bound portion composed of an engagement of the receiving portion with the inserting portion along with binding direction is smaller than 2 times of width in a perpendicular direction against the binding direction. A number of the contrast yarn is parallelly arranged and the receiving portion and the inserting portion are removably connected with a runner member to construct an assembly.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 従来造影糸は単独での使用状態として一本づつ単品ごとに使用する場合にも腰が弱く扱いにくく、受部と挿し込み部による結合部分がスポンジ等に使用した時、その厚さよりも長尺となり危険性があったという点であり、アッセンブリとした場合、装着具の先端をフラットとした中空ニードルでは対象物を貫通させることが非常に困難であるという点である。【解決手段】 一端に係合部を形成した受部を備え、他端に前記受部の係合部に挿し込まれる挿し込み部を備え、その挿し込み部の受部の係合部への挿し込みによってループを形成する糸材に造影剤を添加した造影糸において、前記した受部と挿し込み部の係合によって構成される結合部分は、結合方向に沿った長さが、結合方向と直交する幅の2倍より小さいこととし、前記した造影糸を複数本並設して前記受部及び挿し込み部をランナー部材に切離可能に接続しアッセンブリとしてあることとする。【選択図】 図1
