Biocidal compositions comprising (a) amides corresponding to the general formula (I) in which RCO is substituted with R (CH) nCO (CH) m, R and R independently represent hydrogen or alkyl groups having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, R is replaced by hydrogen or an alkyl radical having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, optionally substituted by one or more functional groups, am and n both independently represent zero or integers from 1 to 10, provided that (n + m) is different from zero, and ( b) biocides. 2. Compositions according to claim 1, characterized in that they include, as component (a), dialkylamides based on 4-oxopentanoic acid (levulinic acid). Compositions according to claim 2, characterized in that they include levulinic acid diethylamide as component (a). Compositions according to claim 1, characterized in that they include biocides (component b) selected from the group consisting of herbicides, fungicide insecticides and plant growth regulators. Compositions according to claim 4, characterized in that they include biocides selected from the group consisting of glyphosate and its salts and glyphosinate and its salts. Compositions according to claim 1, characterized in that they further comprise component (c), which is an oil component or a co-solvent.
