The present invention relates to vegetation soil using mudstone and a method for manufacturing the same. More specifically, properties of the soil can be improved by adding the mudstone to the vegetation soil； the vegetation soil provides a condition under which germination and growth of a plant are promoted, and provides nutrients to the plant. The vegetation soil using mudstone includes 20-40 parts by weight of mudstone powder, 5-15 parts by weight of barley stone powder, and 1-3 pats by weight of a mineral mix with respect to 100 parts by weight of organic compost, which is obtained by fermenting a mixture of manure of live stocks, sewage sludge, a moisture adjusting agent.본 발명은 머드스톤을 이용한 식생토와 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 머드스톤을 첨가하여 토양의 성질을 개선할 수 있으며 식물에 영양소를 공급하여 식물의 발아 및 생장에 유리한 환경을 조성할 수 있는 식생토와 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 머드스톤을 이용한 식생토는 가축 분뇨, 하수 슬러지, 수분조절제를 혼합하여 발효시킨 유기퇴비 100중량부에 대하여 머드스톤 분말 20 내지 40중량부, 맥반석 분말 5 내지 15중량부, 미네랄 믹스 1 내지 3중량부를 함유한다.
