The present invention relates to an automatic opening and closing system of a vinyl greenhouse complex and a control method thereof. The control method of the present invention comprises the steps of: detecting an operation current while applying a forward rotation rated operating voltage to each motor for opening and closing vinyl greenhouses by being provided in each of the vinyl greenhouses when each opening condition of the vinyl greenhouses is satisfied; separately opening the vinyl greenhouses while winding each cover vinyl film of the vinyl greenhouses by forwardly rotating a winding rod separately connected to the rotation motors as each of the rotation motors are forwardly rotated; stopping an overcurrent generating rotation motor by shorting a power supply system of the overcurrent generating rotation motor when an operation current is sensed to be equal to or greater than a set overcurrent value during a set time among the rotation motors; separately and reversely rotating the rotation motors including the overcurrent generating rotation motor by separately applying a reverse rotation rated operating voltage to the rotation motors of the vinyl greenhouses by connecting the power supply system of the overcurrent generating rotation motor when each closing condition of the vinyl greenhouses is satisfied; and closing the vinyl greenhouses while unwinding each cover vinyl film of the vinyl greenhouses by reversely rotating the winding rod separated connected to the rotation motors as the rotation motors are separately and reversely rotated.
