The present invention relates to a method and a system for detecting abnormal areas of human body by utilizing an infrared heat map, including: a step of automatically positioning and shooting a heat map, a step of processing the heat map, a step of identifying abnormal areas on the heat map, and a step of disease-oriented heat map statistics and comparison. After obtaining the heat map of a subject, the heat map is automatically compared with the characteristics of a disease heat map stored in the database. If the heat map meets a temperature distribution of a certain disease, it indicates a possibility of developing the disease.
