The applied unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a blanket cleaner, an unloading conveyer and a hollow cleaner, shaped as two barrels, the upper of which has a lesser diameter than the lower one. The generatrix surface of the hollow cleaner is formed by round longitudinal rods arranged with gaps. Inside of the hollow cleaner a cleaning unit of an arched profile, formed by driving rollers, which counterrotate pairwise, is mounted at the level of the base of the upper barrel. The cleaning unit is fixed on immovable legs, which are disposed in the upper part of the cleaner, and from below on the console end of a driving shaft a cleaning drum is mounted. The generatrix cylindrical surface thereof has rows of long elastic rods, fixed along the entire height thereof, the ends of which form with the internal hollow of the lower barrel a circular gap of a conical shape, the vertex of which is directed downwards. The upper part of the drum comprises a baffle of a conical shape. The cleaner and the drum have opposite directions of rotational movements.Заявлений пристрій для транспортування і очистки коренебульбоплодів складається з рами, подавального транспортера, відбивної щітки, очисної гірки, вивантажувального транспортера та порожнистого очисника, що має форму двох бочок, верхня з яких має менший діаметр ніж нижня. Твірна поверхня порожнистого очисника утворена розташованими з зазорами круглими поздовжніми прутками. Очисник зв'язаний з приводом в обертальний рух. Усередині порожнистого очисника встановлений на рівні основи верхньої бочки очисний блок дугоподібного профілю, що утворений привідними вальцями, які попарно зустрічно обертаються. Очисний блок закріплений на нерухомих стійках, які розташовані у верхній частині очисника, а знизу на консольному кінці привідного вала встановлений очисний барабан, твірна циліндрична поверхня якого має ряди закріплених, по всій його висоті, довгих еластичних прутків,
