PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel whose slider is downsized and whose main body is compacted in the lateral direction.SOLUTION: A spiral shaft 21 is disposed at a place facing the gear portion 7a of a master gear 7. The slider main body 22b is disposed at a place facing only the outer periphery of the side separated from the gear portion 7a of the spiral shaft 21. Since the spiral shaft 21 is disposed to face the slider main body 22b, the slider main body 22b can be downsized.
