PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article flexibly fitted to a crotch part of a wearer by easily deforming along leg holes when being worn.SOLUTION: Planar-view recessed rows 45 formed on a skin-facing surface or a skin non-facing surface of an absorber 4 includes a front recessed row 5 located at a vertically front side with respect to an excretion-point-area vertical center line PL, and a back recessed row 6 located at the back side. The front recessed row 5 includes a pair of front obliquely recessed rows 51 and 51 that extend from the vicinity of the center line PL towards a vertically front end 4f side of the absorber 4 and outward a lateral direction Y. The recessed rows 51 and 51 are not directly connected to each other and disposed at a prescribed interval apart in the lateral direction Y, where the interval is minimized at a part between end parts in the center line PL side. The back recessed row 6 is configured similar to that of the front recessed row 5 and includes a pair of rear obliquely recessed rows 61 and 61. An inclination angle &alpha of the front obliquely recessed rows 51 with respect to the lateral direction Y is smaller than an inclination angle &bgr of the rear obliquely recessed rows 61 with respect to the lateral direction Y.
