PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic apparatus capable of acquiring that it is in a state impossible to appropriately perform automatic alignment, before the alignment operation is terminated.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic apparatus includes: an eye characteristic measuring section a drive section 12 for moving the eye characteristic measuring section an observation optical system for acquiring an image of a subjects eye a display section 14 for displaying the image of the subjects eye and a control section 21 for controlling them. The control section 21 has an autoalignment mode of setting a position of an alignment target to the subjects image, and moving the eye characteristic measuring section, with the position of the alignment target defined as a target.
