PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar type high frequency treatment tool for an endoscope, allowing optional and proper control of the opening/closing direction of a pair of high frequency electrodes by smoothly rotating, in a direction around the axis, the high frequency electrodes electrically insulated from each other and provided at the tip of a flexible sheath openably/closably in a beak state such that rotation delay to a rotation operation from the base end side of the flexible sheath does not occur.SOLUTION: An elongated cylindrical torque coil 7 is disposed rotatably in the direction around the axis around a pair of electroconductive operation wires 6, 6 over the full length inside the flexible sheath 1, and the tip of the torque coil 7 is connected to a tip support frame 3.
