PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery type electric bush cutter which facilitates the attachment and detachment work of a battery.
SOLUTION: In the battery type electric bush cutter which has a cutting blade provided at the front end of the operation main shaft and a motor in the rear end of the operation main shaft by being housed in a motor case 4 for driving the cutting blade and keeps the battery 30 mounted detachably on the motor case 4, a battery supporting body 40 having a battery supporting part 43 located at a prescribed distance below from a lower surface of the motor case 4 for supporting the battery 30 from below is provided on the lower side of the motor case 4, and the battery 30 is inserted between the lower surface of the motor case 4 and the battery supporting part 43 by sliding the battery 30 in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the motor.
