PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter facilitating attachment and detachment of a battery pack.SOLUTION: The bush cutter includes an operation rod, a cutting blade unit installed in the front terminal of the operation rod, a body unit installed in the rear terminal of the operation rod. A cutting blade driven by a motor is supported rotatably in the cutting blade unit. A battery pack-attaching part for slidably receiving the battery pack for supplying electric power to the motor is formed in the body unit. The sliding direction of the battery pack at the battery pack-attaching part is arranged at an angle with the center axis of the operation rod.
