PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding type rice transplanter preventing mud water from being dispersed on a detector for electrically detecting the swing of a float.SOLUTION: The riding type rice transplanter is constituted as follows. Supporting stays 30 and 30 for supporting a seedling-carrying platform are stood on both terminals of a transplanting part frame 23 extended in the width direction of the transplanting part 15, and an interlock shaft is installed in the intermediate part of these supporting stays 30 and 30 in a hung state. A motor potentiobase 59 is freely fitted on the interlock shaft, and a float swinging angle-detecting potentiometer 55 is attached to the rear side of the motor potentiobase 59 in the machine body.
