PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe including a lighting device, which can be used for photographing biological tissue by an endoscope while avoiding complication in structure and increase in size of the probe.SOLUTION: A probe includes a cylindrical translucent member 17 disposed at the tip of the probe 10, an optical fiber 15 for lighting is disposed with an outgoing port inclined from the tip direction to the radially outer side with respect to the central axis A1 of the probe, and illuminating light is caused to enter the cylindrical translucent member. A lens part 17b for enlarging the radiation angle of the illuminating light is formed on the cylindrical translucent member. A recess is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical translucent member so that the lens part does not project, one concave surface 17c of the lens part enlarges the radiation angle of the illuminating light in a plane containing the central axis A1 of the probe and the optical axis A2, and the other concave surface 17d enlarges the radiation angle of the illuminating light in a plane containing the optical axis A2 vertical to the plane containing the central axis A1 of the probe and the optical axis A2.
