Coating and binding agent, its use for production of cover oral or dermal pharmaceutical dosage forms, process for its production and dosage form containing same
A coating and binding agent for oral or dermal pharmaceutical dosage forms, consisting of a) a copolymer, consisting of radically polymerized C1-C4-esters of (meth)acrylic acid and other (meth)acrylate monomers having functional tertiary ammonium groups, wherein the copolymer being in powder form with an average particle size of 1 to 40 um and b) 3 to 15 % by weight based on a) of an emulsifier with an HLB value at least 14, optionally water and/or a pharmaceutical active substance and other conventional additives, wherein the agent comprising also c) 5 to 50 % by weight based on a) of a C12-C18-monocarboxylic acid or a C12-C18-hydroxyl compound.
