PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher which prevents large dusts from remaining in a processing cylinder and improves the throughput of the processing cylinder.SOLUTION: A thresher comprises a threshing cylinder, a plurality of threshing teeth, a grain culm carrier mechanism, and a cut-ear processing device 29. The threshing cylinder rotates about an axis line. The threshing teeth are formed flat nearly parallel to the axis line of the threshing cylinder and tapering off toward the tip, and arranged around the threshing cylinder. The grain culm carrier mechanism transports grain culms along the axis line of the threshing cylinder. The cut-ear processing device 29 includes a processing cylinder 30 disposed parallel to the threshing cylinder, into which material to be processed, which is generated in the threshing cylinder, is inserted.
