PURPOSE: A stress analysis apparatus and method thereof are provided to control stress by detecting the stress state of a measured target person by analyzing a pulse signal. CONSTITUTION: A body sensing unit(200) converts a detected signal into digital data by detecting a pulse signal from a measured target person. A stress test unit(300) computes the change of heart beats by receiving the data from the body sensing unit. The stress test unit creates stress indexes by measuring the activity of an autonomic nervous system by analyzing frequency from the change of the heart beats. A database(400) stores a stress level values according to the stress index. A control unit(100) analyzes stress process states by computing the stress level value according to the stress index. A display unit(500) displays the stress process state computed by the control unit.
