The invention provides an oral composition comprising 4-methyl-8-phenoxy-1-(2-phenylethyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-c]quinoline or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or solvate thereof and chlorhexidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or solvate thereof, wherein the composition is in the form of a mouthwash and comprises about 0.001% w/v to about 0.06% w/v of chlorhexidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and/or solvate thereof.
