A temperature regulation system (200) for regulating the temperature of a body, comprising at least one temperature sensor (102, 204a-204s, 404a-404p, 604a-604h, 804a-804c, 904a-904b, 1004a-1004c) adapted to generate a temperature measurement that relates to a temperature of a given portion of a body, at least one flexible support (110) to be directly or indirectly positioned against or in proximity of a given portion of the body, at least one temperature adjustment element adapted to provide heat and/or cold to a given portion of the body, arranged on or in the flexible support (110), a memory unit (1024) adapted to store at least one temperature related threshold value, a logical unit (1022) in wire or wireless communication with the memory unit (1024) and adapted to perform logical processing, a controlling unit (1032, 1034) in wire or wireless communication with the logical unit(1022), with the temperature sensor (102, 204a-204s, 404a-404p, 604a-604h, 804a-804c, 904a-904b, 1004a-1004c) and with the temperature adjustment element. The controlling unit (1032, 1034) is configured to receive the instant temperature of a given portion of the body from the temperature sensor(102, 204a-204s, 404a-404p, 604a-604h, 804a-804c, 904a-904b, 1004a-1004c) and to transmit it to the logical unit (1022), to receive from the logical unit (1022) a result of comparison between at least one instant temperature related value and the temperature related threshold value performed by the logical unit (1022), to activate the temperature adjustment element to provide heat or cold to a given portion of the body when said result of comparison is such that the instant temperature related value is equal or below, respectively equal or above, the temperature related threshold value.
