This massage head is provided with a housing (2, 11) defining an internal chamber at the level of which a skin fold is formed when it is applied to the skin of a patient, said fold being supported against the lower edges of the chamber, the latter being defined by two side walls and by two transverse walls (15, 16), said transverse walls being each constituted by a valve capable of being driven by a pivoting movement, so as to induce the bringing together and the removal of the lower edges of said valves in contact with the skinfold. Le déplacement relatif des clapets est assuré au moyen d'une came rotative motorisée (10) ménagée au sein de la tête de massage, ladite came définissant un chemin de came coopérant avec un organe associé auxdits clapets, apte à induire le mouvement de pivotement de ces derniers.
