The invention relates to a self-cutting dental implant consisting of an integral body which includes a threaded section (3) having a thread (6) that occupies approximately 25% of the portion that penetrates into the bone, a cutting section (4) consisting of a single helical cutter (8) that occupies 75% of said part that is inserted into the bone, optionally comprising a coupling section (2), consisting of a rod (5) having a length that is equal to 25% of the total length L of the implant body.
