PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a conventional problem that a flexible tube buckles even when the flexible tube is frequently bent since a net and outer skin are not easily peeled even when an endoscope is used for a long period of time.SOLUTION: In a flexible tube 10 for an endoscope, an outer peripheral surface of a spiral tube 74 formed by winding a strip in a spiral shape is covered with a net 76 for which thin wires 77 are crossed with each other and knitted in a mesh shape, and the outer peripheral surface of the net 76 is covered with outer skin 80 made of a resin. In the flexible tube 10 for an endoscope, a cylindrical body 82 formed of a material which can be closely attached to the outer skin 80 is put on the outer peripheral surface of the thin wires 77 so as not to be closely attached to the thin wires 77, and the cylindrical body 82 and the outer skin 80 are bonded.
