An antibody for use in the treatment of an individual with an erbB-mediated tumor, to administer to said individual in combination with anti-cancer radiation, wherein the tumor is characterized by a) erbB homodimers that are mutant EGFR homodimers or p185 homodimers and / ob) erbB heterodimers that are p185 / EGFR heterodimers, mutant p185 / EGFR heterodimers, p185 / erbB3 heterodimers, p185 / erb4 heterodimers or mutant EGFR / EGFR heterodimers, wherein said antibody is an anti-p185 antibody humanized or fragment thereof or a humanized anti-EGFR antibody, or fragment thereof, and wherein the antibody or fragment thereof disrupts the kinase activity associated with the dimers and makes radiation sensitive, tumor cells previously resistant to the radiation.Un anticuerpo para uso en el tratamiento de un individuo con un tumor mediado por erbB, para administrar a dicho individuo en combinación con radiación anticáncer, en donde el tumor se caracteriza por a) homodímeros erbB que son homodímeros de EGFR mutantes u homodímeros de p185 y/o b) heterodímeros de erbB que son heterodímeros de p185/EGFR, heterodímeros de p185/EGFR mutantes, heterodímeros de p185/erbB3, heterodímeros de p185/erb4 o heterodímeros de EGFR/EGFR mutante, en donde dicho anticuerpo es un anticuerpo anti-p185 humanizado o fragmento del mismo o un anticuerpo anti- EGFR humanizado, o fragmento del mismo, y en donde el anticuerpo o fragmento de la mismo interrumpe la actividad de quinasa asociada con los dímeros y hace sensibles a la radiación, las células tumorales previamente resistentes a la radiación.
