PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for identifying the movement of multiple persons for each individual.SOLUTION: A correlation coefficient is calculated between signal strings showing signal strength other than 0 from the output of multiple sensors, and the correlation coefficient is compared with a threshold. When being the threshold or more, an event position is determined from a signal intensity ratio. When being less than the threshold, the determination of multiple events is performed. An event number ξ is assumed 2, and an initial matrix A where the correlation coefficient r(ξ) between the signal strings I is minimized is determined from I=AS being given by signal strings I of ξ pieces, a matrix A of the ξ rows M columns, and signal strings S of M rows 1 column. By adding 1 to the event number ξ, the matrix A where the correlation coefficient r(ξ) between the signal strings I is minimized is determined from the I=AS being given by the signal strings I of the ξ pieces, the matrix A of the ξ rows M columns, and the signal strings S of the M rows 1 column, and the r(ξ) is compared with r(ξ-1).
