PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phototherapy device that is suitable for handheld use and has high safety.SOLUTION: The phototherapy device is driven by a power supply and includes a housing 71, a light-transmitting plate 81, a light-blocking part 91, an LED module 31, and a control module. The housing 71 includes: a top surface having a light outlet 721 a bottom surface and a handheld surface that connects the top surface and the bottom surface and has at least one protruding part 74. The light-transmitting plate 81 covers the light outlet 721. The light-blocking part 91 has a protruding rim formed along the circumferential direction of the light outlet 721. The LED module 31 is stored inside the housing 71 in accordance with the light outlet 721.
