PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film having excellent whitening resistance, with superior appearance, capable of preventing deterioration of adhesiveness of an adherend surface to other laminate members such as interlayer filler, after removing a surface protective film.SOLUTION: A surface protective film includes: a base material having a first surface and a second surface; a top coat layer disposed on the first surface side of the base material; and an acrylic adhesive layer disposed on the second surface side of the base material. The top coat layer includes wax as a lubricant and a polyester resin as a binder. The wax is an ester of higher fatty acid and higher alcohol. The acrylic adhesive layer includes an acrylic polymer as a base polymer, and has a specific property.
