The present invention provides a synergistic herbicidal composition comprising Pyroxasulfone, Topramezone and Atrazine as the active components, wherein the weight ratio of Pyroxasulfone, Topramezone and Atrazine ranges from l to 10:1 to 10:1 to 100, as well as the use of the synergistic herbicidal composition of present invention for controlling the growth of undesirable plants. The present invention also provides a method of controlling the growth of undesirable plants, which comprises applying the active components Pyroxasulfone, Topramezone and Atrazine of the synergistic herbicidal composition of present invention to the undesirable plants or their growing locus or separately.
