An apparatus for delivering a flow of breathable gas to a patient, comprising: a patient interface (4) configured to engage the patient&rsquo；s nares； and headgear (281) headgear configured to be secured to the patient interface by a two-point connection and to maintain the patient interface in engagement with the patient&rsquo；s nares. The headgear comprises a pair of elastic straps (282) extending around the back of the patient&rsquo；s head. Each strap has a first end connected to the patient interface and a second end connected to the other of the pair of elastic straps. Each strap is configured to extend from the patient interface to a position at or proximal the occipital bone of the patient&rsquo；s head. Each strap extends along a side of the patient&rsquo；s face and above the patient&rsquo；s ear.
