The invention relates to a method for packaging a plurality of containers (2) for substances for medical, pharmaceutical or cosmetic purposes, in a packaging structure (1) comprising a box-like upper part (10) and a box-like lower part (20), forming a box-like receptacle in which the containers are accommodated. According to the method, the plurality of containers (2) are arranged directly on the base of the lower part, such that the containers are supported vertically on the base (21) of the lower part, and the upper part is positioned on the upper ends of the containers. In addition, the position of the containers on the lower part is secured using side walls (22, 23 12, 13) that project vertically from the base of the lower part (20) and/or of the upper part (10), in order to prevent shifting of the containers in the packaging structure, and the upper part and/or lower part are constructed or prepared in such a way that the containers in the box-like receptacle are directly in contact with one another and do not move in relation to one another. In particular, the containers can be accommodated in the upper or lower part in a permanently jammed manner. The packaging structure, having the upper and lower part and the containers (2) accommodated by these parts, is sealed against the environment by introducing same into a sleeve or sealable bag made of a plastic material, or by a gas-permeable plastic foil.
