A seaweed bath product comprising dried seaweed soaked with essential oils retained in a porous bag. The seaweed is preferably of the species Ascophyllum nodosum. The essential oils are preferably selected from lavender, peppermint, lemon, lime, rosemary geranium or combinations thereof. A method of manufacture is provided, comprising the step of soaking dried seaweed with essential oils. The method preferably further comprises soaking dried and washed seaweed with essential oils by spray drying. The method preferably comprises the further step of drying the soaked seaweed and packing the dried seaweed in a porous bag. The invention is designed to mask the unpleasant natural smell of the dried seaweed when used in bathing.
