PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having wing parts with superior fitting property, easily peeling the wing parts from cover sheets and having the wing parts with high folding-back operability in the absorbent article whose wing parts are formed of side sheets forming side leakage-preventing parts.
SOLUTION: This absorbent article is provided with an absorbent body 10, the wing parts 5 and 5 extending from the both side parts of the absorbent article 10 in the width direction, and the side leakage-preventing parts 6 and 6 covering the both sides of the surface of the absorbent body 10 to be in contact with the skin, wherein each of the wing parts 5 and 5 is formed of a wing upper layer 51 and a wing lower layer 52, each side leakage-preventing part 6 is formed of a water-repellent side sheet 61, the side sheets 61 are extended from the both sides of the absorbent body 10 to form the wing upper layers 51, and a back face sheet 3 is extended from the both sides of the absorbent body 10 to form the wing lower layers 52. The wing part 5 is so formed that a wing base end part 53, or the base end part, is formed of a laminated body of the wing upper layer 51 and the wing lower layer 42, and a wing tip part 54, or a part other than the wing base end part 53, is formed of the wing upper layer 51.
