ABSTRACT A WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS The present disclosure provides a water purification apparatus (100). The apparatus (100) comprises an elongated tapered conduit (10), a plurality of screens (12), a plurality of chambers (14) formed in the conduit (10), a filter media (16a, 16b and 16c), a filter (18) and a mouthpiece (20). The water purification apparatus (100) of the present disclosure facilitates reduction in the suction pressure required for withdrawing water from the mouthpiece (18). The apparatus (100) is effective, economical and simple in construction.
