An indoor air purification system based on a great number of plants and a formation method thereof. The system comprises a simulation tree-shaped plant culture device. The simulation tree-shaped plant culture device comprises a trunk member (1), flower water culture devices (2) and connecting members. The top of the trunk member (1) is connected with primary branch members (3). Each flower water culture device (2) comprises a liquid storage tank (4). Culture tank insertion holes (6) are formed in the liquid storage tank (4). A culture tank (7) is arranged in each culture tank insertion hole (6). A water inlet hole (8) is formed in the culture tank (7). Plants (9) for purifying indoor air are cultured in each culture tank (7).
