To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and a program capable of performing operation of a reproduction image while a live moving image is displayed in a state where operation can be performed.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises sound ray data generation means for generating sound ray data, control means for displaying an ultrasonic image on the basis of the sound ray data, and input means. The control means performs a two-dimensional display control in which the sound ray data used for display of an ultrasonic image or the processing data thereof to be stored in a storage unit as reproduction data, a live moving image for displaying the ultrasonic image by being sequentially updated on the basis of the newly generated sound ray data and a reproduction image on the basis of the reproduction data related to the live moving image are displayed side by side on a display unit.
