A patient wheeled walking aid includes a frame having an upright support (5) to which are coupled two handles (3) and at least two wheels (4). The frame also includes two rearwardly extending feet members (6) which in one embodiment have high friction brake elements (9) attached thereto. The handles (3) are movable between low positions and high positions, enabling a patient (2) to stand upright while still holding onto the walking aid.
