A multi-functional medical instrument, particularly for use in orthopedy, comprises a handle (2) having an extended body ending with a T-shaped enlarged head, having two opposite and tapered ends (5) useable as a reflex hammer head. The extended body (2) is divided longitudinally into two arms mutually articulated around a central axis (8) of the head (3), according to a plane parallel to the articulation axis (8). The two arms (6, 7) have flat surfaces (6a, 7a) for mutual contact and they may be used as goniometer arms. The head is traversed by a central opening (30). The instrument incorporates a tape measure (12) which is wound in the head (3) and guided into a longitudinal slot (15) of the first arm (6). The tape measure (12) may be unwound starting from the free end of the first arm (6) and it may also be used as plummet. A stimulation tip (19) is slidably mounted in a longitudinal slot (18) of the second arm (7) and it is moveable by means of a slidable button (20) between a retracted position and a position projecting from the free end of the second arm (7).
