PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumer food testing device for testing presence of harmful contaminants in a food sample.SOLUTION: A consumer food testing device comprises: a system for producing a visual cue upon detection of a chemical, biological, and/or ionizing radiation contaminant and a processing system responsive to the detection of the harmful contaminant, for transmitting a global position of the consumer food testing device, identity of the harmful contaminant, and time and a date to a remote monitoring facility.
