SUMMARY Described herein are Spiropiperidine Compounds of Formula I that have demonstrated activity as inhibitors of fatty acid synthase. Also described herein are pharmaceutical compositions comprising the spiropiperidine compounds described above, and treating a disease mediated by fatty acid synthase by administering one or more compounds or pharmaceutical formulations described herein. A method of doing is also described. Also described herein are methods of synthesizing the above compounds, including the spiropiperidine compounds and synthetic intermediates useful in their synthesis.
