PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local odor search device which identifies a site where an odor is generated by acquiring and analyzing a local odor and contributes to treatment of a patient. SOLUTION: The local odor search device 10 for detecting the causative gas from a local odor composed of a gas existing in the vicinity of the affected portion including a causative gas causing the odor generated from the affected portion, and the local odor is detected. It is configured as a local odor search device 10 having an intake nozzle 11 for suction and a suction unit 15 capable of sucking the gas with a gas suction amount of 4 L / min or less.
