The present invention relates to a jaw joint correcting device for adjusting the position of the jaw of a person needing correction. The jaw joint correcting device comprises: a tension coupling unit (110) extended from the front surface to the bottom surface of an upper jaw guard (11)； a sawtooth coupling unit (120) formed on the front top side surface of a lower jaw guard (12) corresponding to the tension coupling unit； a fixing coupler (20) inserted in the tension coupling unit (110), and tensioned to be fixed to and coupled with the sawtooth coupling unit (120)； and upper jaw and lower jaw guide units (130, 140) coupled with the bottom surface of the upper jaw guard (12) and the top surface of the lower jaw guard (12), and guiding the forward transferring of the lower jaw guard (12). When treatment using jaw joint correction for an apnea patient having snoring is requested, the patient can perform correction by himself/herself by means of an autonomously adjustable jaw joint correcting device for treating snoring and sleep apnea of the present invention. When the positions of upper jaw and lower jaw guards are adjusted to select a correction position during autonomous correction, lateral position moving distances are identically maintained. Thus, it is completely prevented that the variation of a jaw joint occurs due to differences in lateral position moving distances.
