PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for driving a feed chain in a combine harvester capable of enabling a manual threshing operation to be efficiently carried out.SOLUTION: The output power from an engine 1 is branched to a traveling transmission system and a front treating transmission system for a feed chain 18 and a front treating part 17. A driving speed-maintaining means for maintaining the driving speeds of the feed chain 18 and the front treating part 17 at previously set speeds when the traveling speed is lower than a previously set prescribed speed, is installed in the side of a speed-synchronizing means for synchronously changing the driving speed of the feed chain 18 and the front treating part 17. A manual threshing speed-increasing means for increasing the driving speed of the feed chain 18 at the time of the manual threshing is operated so as to be interlocked with a changing operation to the manual threshing state.COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO【課題】 手扱ぎ作業を効率よく行うことができるコンバインにおけるフィードチェーンの駆動装置を提供することを課題としている。【解決手段】 エンジン1からの出力を走行伝動系とフィードチェーン18及び前処理部17への前処理伝動系とに分岐せしめ、フィードチェーン18及び前処理部17の駆動速度を走行速度に連動して変更せしめる速度連動手段側に、走行速度が予め設定された所定の速度より小さな場合にフィードチェーン18及び前処理部17の駆動速度を予め設定された速度に維持する駆動速度維持手段を設け、手扱ぎ状態への切換操作に連動して手扱ぎ作業時のフィードチェーン18の駆動速度を上昇せしめる手扱ぎ速度上昇手段を作動させる。
